Privatization cases - the sale of individual condominium units - can be an attractive strategy in a market with a large disparity in price per square meter between the private condominium market and rental properties. Developments in the condominium market in recent years, particularly in Copenhagen and the surrounding areas, have created a strong focus on privatization as an investment strategy and divestment case. For a smooth process and execution, there are a number of legal and practical matters that require preparation and planning.

Moalem Weitemeyer has advised on several privatization cases, and on that basis we have, in this article, compiled some of the matters that can advantageously be addressed early in the process in order to ensure a successful completion of the privatization case.
