The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority’s Comments on ESMA’s Final Report on Technical Advice concerning MAR

The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (DFSA) has recently published its initial comments on ESMA’s Final Report on technical advice concerning the EU Market Abuse Regulation (MAR).

From 5 June 2026, issuers will no longer be required to disclose inside information about intermediate steps in protracted processes. Instead, disclosure obligations will focus on the final event or certain circumstances - a significant shift intended to balance transparency with the practical realities of M&A and other sensitive transactions.
