Ramadan Mubarak!

Ramadan Mubarak to all our Muslim colleagues and friends around the world!

The month of Ramadan is a special time for many Muslims. It's a time of reflection, for prayer, for kindness and consideration for others.

“As most people know, Ramadan is about abstaining from food and water from sunrise to sunset, but more importantly, it is a time to be kind and generous with others, and personally for me to reflect daily on my actions to become a better person than I was yesterday. While such reflections are not reserved for Ramadan, I use this time as a stepping stone for the coming year to improve myself spiritually, which also has direct impact on the way I conduft myself," says Associate Kadir Kurt and continues:

"I have always experienced curiosity and support from my colleagues and the management at Moalem Weitemeyer about Ramadan, which I greatly appreciate. The human body is unique, and this is also the case during Ramadan. I personally experience the first week to be the hardest as the body adapts to being in a fasting state but after that, it begins to distribute resources accordingly, and that gives me a sense of renewed energy.”

At Moalem Weitemeyer, we recognize others for what matters to them. We celebrate our different backgrounds and believe that there is much to learn from eachother. Ramadan Mubarak!
