Novo Nordisk, the global pharmaceutical giant, and Cellular Intelligence have entered into a landmark agreement. Cellular Intelligence acquires STEM-PD, a Phase 2-ready allogeneic cell therapy program for Parkinson’s disease. Alongside the acquisition, Novo Nordisk is making a strategic investment in Cellular Intelligence.

Cellular Intelligence, a Boston-based biotech company, uses AI and large-scale data to develop novel cell replacement therapies by producing human tissue from stem cells. 

Cooley LLP acted as international lead counsel, and Moalem Weitemeyer advised on Danish law matters.
