MSA Safety is a U.S.-based company that designs and manufactures advanced safety products used to protect people and facilities in hazardous environments. 

Autronica Fire and Security is a leading provider of advanced fire and gas detection and alarm systems, serving mission-critical sectors including energy, maritime, and infrastructure with high-reliability safety solutions.

The acquisition for approximately USD 555 million enhances MSA Safety’s global fire and gas detection capabilities, reinforcing its position as a comprehensive solutions provider across critical infrastructure and high-hazard environments. BofA Securities acted as exclusive financial adviser to MSA. The transaction is expected to close in Q3 2026 subject to regulatory approvals.
