Moalem Weitemeyer is advising Erhvervsinvest on its acquisition of Fayrefield Ingredients Holding.

Erhvervsinvest is a Danish private equity fund that makes majority investments in small and medium-sized, well-managed, primarily Denmark-based companies with an international platform. Since its establishment in 2004, Erhvervsinvest has raised six funds with a total committed capital of DKK 5.1 billion. 

Fayrefield Ingredients Holding is a global supplier of milk-based ingredients, functional blends, cheese, butter, and nutritional products for the food industry. The company has production facilities in Denmark and offices in the USA, China, Poland, France, and the United Arab Emirates. Fayrefield employs approximately 70 people worldwide and has a strong presence in markets such as Denmark, China, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Germany.

Completion of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
