Garmin acquires MYLAPS Sports Technology Group (MYLAPS)

Moalem Weitemeyer advised NYSE-listed Garmin Ltd. (GRMN) as Danish counsel in connection with the acquisition of MYLAPS, a leading Dutch provider of integrated timing, live tracking and performance analysis tools that help millions of athletes and spectators. MYLAPS Sports Technology Group includes two Danish group companies. The transaction was announced on 29 July 2025.

Garmin is a U.S.-based multinational technology company best known for designing and manufacturing GPS-enabled products and with operations within distinct markets - from aviation and marine to outdoor and fitness wearables. Moalem Weitemeyer has had the privilege of acting as counsel to Garmin in Danish matters for nearly twenty years.
