Moalem Weitemeyer has advised Ousia Pharma in connection with a significant investment round led and financed by Omega Funds.

The financing marks a major milestone for Ousia Pharma as it advances its groundbreaking approach to obesity treatment based on a proprietary hybrid peptide technology. The investment will support Ousia Pharma through Phase 1 clinical trials, aiming to enhance long-term weight loss outcomes and reduce treatment-related side effects.

Founded in 2022, Ousia Pharma emerged from the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research and has received critical early-stage support from BioInnovation Institute (BII), including significant funding in connection with the investment round. 

Omega Funds is a leading international venture capital firm that creates and invests in life sciences companies that target our world's most urgent medical needs.
